How PrizePulse Works

Competition Overview

PrizePulse competitions are exciting, time-limited events where participants purchase tickets for a chance to win cash prizes. As the competition progresses, participants are randomly eliminated until only one winner remains.

Each competition has a set duration (1-24 hours), ticket price, and minimum prize amount. The actual prize pool grows as more tickets are sold.

3

Stay in the Game

As the competition progresses, random eliminations occur. The last remaining participant wins the prize!

The Elimination Process

PrizePulse uses a fair and transparent elimination algorithm to randomly remove participants throughout the competition:

  • Eliminations happen at random intervals based on the competition's duration
  • The elimination rate increases as the competition progresses
  • Each ticket has an equal chance of being eliminated
  • The system ensures at least one participant remains at the end

Elimination Curve Types

  • Linear: Constant elimination rate throughout
  • Accelerating (Default): Starts slow, increases over time
  • Custom: Special elimination patterns for unique competitions

Mini-Prizes

Throughout the competition, random participants win mini-prizes from a portion of the prize pool:

Frequency

  • Low: Fewer, larger prizes
  • Medium: Balanced distribution
  • High: More frequent, smaller prizes

Prize Sizes

  • Small: 0.1-0.5% of prize pool
  • Medium: 0.5-1% of prize pool
  • Large: 1-2% of prize pool

Winning the Competition

The competition ends when only one participant remains with active tickets. This participant wins the main prize!

The prize amount is calculated as:

Prize = (Total Ticket Sales × (1 - Platform Fee Percentage)) + Minimum Prize

Winners receive their prize via their preferred payment method shortly after the competition ends.
